1. Who we are
Demly operates a unified loyalty network in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, enabling customers to earn and redeem rewards across participating brands through one wallet. This policy explains how we handle personal data for consumers using the Demly app, businesses using the Demly dashboard, and visitors to our website.
2. Data we collect
Consumers: phone number, name, transaction and points history, and reward redemptions. Businesses: account email, name, company details, and billing records. Website visitors: contact details you submit through our forms (such as demo requests) and standard technical logs. We do not store payment card numbers — card payments are processed by licensed third-party payment providers.
3. How we use data
We use personal data to operate wallets and the points ledger, prevent fraud and abuse, provide customer support, send service communications, bill business customers, and improve the platform. We process data in accordance with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).
4. Sharing
When you earn or redeem points with a participating brand, that brand sees the transaction data needed to operate its loyalty program. We share data with service providers (hosting, payments, messaging) under contracts that restrict their use of it, and with authorities where the law requires. We do not sell personal data.
5. Retention
Financial ledger records and audit logs are retained for up to seven years to meet regulatory and accounting obligations. Other personal data is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above, then deleted or anonymised.
6. Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted by role and tenant isolation at the database level, and all sensitive operations are logged in an append-only audit trail.
7. Your rights
Subject to the PDPL, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Contact us at privacy@demly.ink and we will respond within the statutory timeframe.
